When Nisolo reached out to us to photograph their upcoming marketing campaign featuring new arrivals, we knew it would be a project rooted in more than just beautiful shoes — it was about storytelling through environment, texture, and intentional style.

The creative direction called for natural elements, architectural details, and visually rich locations — places that felt lived-in, layered, and full of character. They wanted the campaign to reflect an a sense of exploration and the joy of experiencing culture through personal expression.

“We’re looking to capture the adventures you go on in your shoes in interesting, captivating places. … the essence of the shoes (and you) going on a journey.“

A blend of editorial and documentary, this shoot captured people not just wearing Nisolo, but living in it. We sought out moments of movement, pattern, light, and landscape that echoed the brand’s values: ethical design, timeless style, and human connection.

Women’s Lola Mary Janes

Lola is Nisolo’s take on the classic Mary Jane. Featuring a square toe, adjustable brass-buckled strap, and clean lines with minimal stitching for a refined look, it’s crafted from waterproof suede with a soft leather lining. It offers a padded insole, flat sole, and lightweight construction for customizable, all-day comfort. Take your normal size, but note there’s a small breaking-in period, particularly around the back ankle.
